Now that the grant application has been submitted, I intend to devote more attention to this blog and use it to update everyone on some projects we can work on between now and when the grant recipients are announced in the spring.
The Albright Memorial Building, the heart of the Scranton Public Library, is located at 500 Vine Street. It opened in 1893 and is adjacent to the Lackawanna County Children's Library. We also have a branch in the Green Ridge section of Scranton. The Scranton Public Library has a commitment to balancing the preservation of books, photographs, and other items pertaining to the history of the Scranton Area with making them accessible to everyone.
