About Me

Scranton Public Library
The Albright Memorial Building, the heart of the Scranton Public Library, is located at 500 Vine Street. It opened in 1893 and is adjacent to the Lackawanna County Children's Library. We also have a branch in the Green Ridge section of Scranton. The Scranton Public Library has a commitment to balancing the preservation of books, photographs, and other items pertaining to the history of the Scranton Area with making them accessible to everyone.
